This document is a website-ready baseline and does not replace legal advice. It should be reviewed if services, providers, payment methods, advertising practices, tax details, or target markets change.

1. Controller and contact

Mazal Tov Atelier, with commercial operations in Mexico and the United States, is responsible for personal information received through this website, forms, WhatsApp, email, social media, calls, contracts, and event administration tools.

Some religious, family, or minor-related event details may reveal sensitive information. We request only what is needed to provide the service and process it with consent, confidentiality, and extra care.

Optional purposes

4. Mexico and United States legal basis

In Mexico, this policy is issued under the current Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and related rules. Processing may rely on consent, a contractual or pre-contractual relationship, legal obligations, and legitimate interests allowed by law.

In the United States, there is no single federal privacy law covering all businesses. We process information under transparency and security principles, the Federal Trade Commission Act regarding unfair or deceptive practices, commercial communication rules where applicable, and state consumer privacy laws when they apply based on volume, residency, or activity.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website may use cookies, local storage, Google Analytics, form tools, measurement services, and similar technologies to remember language, measure traffic, detect errors, and improve the experience. You can limit cookies in your browser. Some functions may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

6. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with providers that help us operate the service, including hosting, domains, forms, email, WhatsApp, analytics, storage, payments, invoicing, automation, support, design, and event administration tools. Providers must process data under our instructions or their own notices when acting as independent controllers.

We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, respond to authority requests, prevent fraud, or perform a contract. Some processing may occur outside Mexico or outside your country of residence.

7. Retention and security

We keep information as long as needed to provide services, maintain support histories, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect legitimate business interests. We then delete, anonymize, or restrict access to archived data.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, reputable providers, secure links where available, and data minimization. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risks of unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

8. Your rights

If you are in Mexico, you may exercise ARCO rights: access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition. You may also revoke consent or limit the use or disclosure of your data.

If you are in the United States, certain state laws may provide rights to access, correct, delete, port, limit sensitive data, opt out of sale or targeted advertising, and appeal. Mazal Tov Atelier does not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the word, but some analytics or advertising tools may be considered "sharing" or targeted advertising under certain state laws.

To exercise rights, email hello@mazaltovatelier.com with your name, contact method, requested right, and enough information to identify the relationship or event. We may request reasonable identity verification before responding.

9. Children

Our services are contracted by adults. When an invitation includes minors' information, the client represents that they have sufficient authorization from parents, guardians, or legal representatives. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not seek to collect information directly from them without authorization.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect legal, operational, or provider changes. The current version will be available on this page with its last updated date. If a change is material, we will try to communicate it through reasonable means.
